Elizabeth is amazing! Even though I hate needles, I truly believe in acupuncture! I went to see her last August for sciatica and knee pain on the left side of my body and other various issues. My sciatica pain had subsided and hasn't returned. I was very impressed with the way she takes the time to listen and understand exactly what ailments you having and in making sure she give you the best care that she can. After finding out my she accepts Kaiser Permanente insurance, I was excited to see her again in regards of another back issue, CTS, and stress. And as before the pain is getting better just after 2 visits. I would recommend anyone to come see her. Elizabeth is very knowledge, gentle, and she makes sure you are comfortable throughout your session. The facility is very clean and the decor and music is very soothing.

I went to Elizabeth after not seeing much relief with chiropractic treatments for back pain, and I was not disappointed. After just 1 session with her I couldn't believe the improvements in my pain. The first session she spent time going through what was bothering me and testing areas to see if I was a good candidate for acupuncture. I am terrified of needles, but she did a great job of calming my fears and taking it slow. When I returned for more sessions, she always remembered what my issues were and made sure to check on everything. She also worked on areas outside of just back pain, and my stress levels and sleep quality have improved tremendously. Elizabeth definitely made me a believer in acupuncture and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Heather O. 8/21/2018 My experience with Elizabeth Guo is phenomenal. I found myself with a neuropathy condition on the bottom of my feet. My doctor sent me to a neurologist to test the nerves in my legs who found that 1 out of 3 nerves that could be tested in the office were malfunctioning. Oh, what can we do, I ask. The doctor says, we will watch, come back in 6 months. Not what I wanted to hear. After hearing this, Elizabeth sent me an email with studies of acupuncture being effective with neuropathy. OK, Elizabeth, let's try it. After a series of treatments, my condition is hugely improved!! Elizabeth is the BEST!
Marel S. 2/18/2019 I have been under the care of Join Hands Acupuncture Wellness since they opened. I received acupuncture treatments from Elizabeth Guo prior to her opening this facility, as well. I have had several ailments where I was seeking relief; such as arthritis, anxiety, leg pain and joint discomfort. The treatments I’ve received have been incredible, to say the least. The entire methodology of acupuncture has been quite an education. Because of the success in my treatments, I plan to continue ongoing maintenance. I walk and jog today, pain free. My levels of depression and anxiety, since the passing of my husband, have decreased immensely due to the acupuncture treatments I’m receiving. My quality of life continues to improve, a great part due to Join Hands Acupuncture and Elizabeth’s knowledge and skill. Lastly, I recently began taking my granddaughter to Join Hands Acupuncture for tummy and headache issues. She has improved significantly over the past couple of months! I’ve referred other friends and family and I highly recommend this method of healing to every single person who has ever experienced pain or discomfort.

I have severe TMJ with stress/jaw clenching at night. I would have never imagined something in my leg or arm would change how the muscles in my jaw felt. Elizabeth was able to find spots in my arms and legs that directly affected my muscles in my jaw. I didn't even know that was possible. I had acupuncture before provided in my PCP office, but they're now too busy to see the same person regularly. This was slow paced and felt focused on my exact needs. She had a questionnaire about health and injuries, which I really liked. She asked me good questions to help narrow down my concerns and what I would to accomplish without feeling invasive at all. I thought I'd just try it out because I did see some results from my previous experience, but this was so different! This experience was 10x better than I expected. In a short period of time, I could feel tension in my jaw dissipate then pain started to recede. I haven't felt my jaw relax in years! I started crying from the pain relief and overwhelming positive feeling from the experience. I usually never cry in front of people that I don't know well, so I was really happy the way she still made me comfortable about it. For treatments like this to work well, I know they do require more than one session. So far, I am still feeling like my jaw is light and less painful. I can open my mouth more than I could before. I am even able to move it side to side without pain. My muscles feel sore because they've been so tight for so long, but that is to be expected. I am excited to try more sessions. Her pricing is really good especially when I compare what I've paid in the past for physical therapy. It is a good investment for me, since I have been unable to relax my jaw after a very stressful three years in my life. I think this will be a great start to helping me achieve better health for my jaw and other areas in my body. Thank you for the great service! Chelsea H 04/19/2018 I have had 3 sessions with Elizabeth and she is just fantastic. She talked with me to find out all of the things I wanted to work on. I asked lots of questions about pressure points and which parts of the body which needle was affecting and she was very helpful in explaining things to me. I highly recommend Join Hands. They also have convenient Sunday hours too.
Teresa S. 11/20/2017 Just had my first session with Elizabeth and booked my next TWO! She has a very soft ora about her and is an awesome acupuncturist! I have a very unique reaction to the needles (I get really intense sensations) and I usually giggle a lot- she was really kind and put me at ease! Her consultation is very thorough!
She puts Chinese herb oil prior to the needles and uses a heat lamp for absorption and circulation. I'm so excited I've found her! Can't wait for my next treatment! Craig L. 9/15/2017 I went to Elizabeth for two full weeks of intensive treatments that was one treatment every 2 days. Prior to the treatment, she asked me by phone my general ailment concerns in order to properly prepare for my specific needs before I went there. All the sessions I had was customized for my needs and she would adjust the acupuncture, depending on my overall condition the day I went in to see her. She was extremely patient with me, and a genuine person. After each session, I always felt incredibly relaxed, balanced and was able to sleep really well (I was having sleep problems before then). Her clinic is clean and welcoming. I love the soothing music while receiving the treatment. I highly recommend her and would go back to her the next time I need treatment or even a general health re-balancing!!
