I had two severe incidents of gout on my right foot in the past year. It got to a point where I almost could not walk because of the pain in the big toe and ankle. Elizabeth helped me with using both acupuncture and Chinese herbs. After a series of treatments the pain and inflammation was gone and I have no trouble walking.

I can't say enough good things about Elizabeth! I was extremely nervous to try acupuncture but Elizabeth made me feel so comfortable! I've been to see Elizabeth many times for various issues; anxiety, neck and wrist pain. Every time I leave feeling so relaxed and my pain is almost gone! Elizabeth is so knowledgeable about acupuncture and Chinese herbs! Now I'm not nervous at all and usually fall asleep on the table!
If you've ever thought about trying acupuncture go see Elizabeth.....you won't regret it! Acupuncture can help so many issues that most doctors will just prescribe pills for! I'll be doing acupuncture from now on! Tiffany F. 3/5/2019 Elizabeth is beyond amazing & wonderful. Absolutely the best thing I have ever done! I will admit I started out as the biggest skeptic. I only went because workers comp sent me. I never sleep during the day and I barely sleep at night. I went in for my hip, but since then she has fixed migraines shoulder pain and back pain. She is beyond amazing and really knows what she's doing, she never ever rushes you. She takes time to talk & question you before each and every session. After my first session, she even text me the next day to see how I was feeling! By the way, it was the first time I had slept through the night without waking up since my injury a year ago!! Now I look forward to going, for someone who never sleeps during the day, I fall asleep on her table every time and every time I say to myself "I'm not gonna fall asleep this time"! Karen A. 1/21/2019 Elizabeth is incredible!! I've had acupuncture before but wanted to find someone close to me. This was the most comfortable I've been during the process. I had a pain on the ball of my left foot and after the treatment it was completely gone. I was so aggravated I hadn't seen her earlier!!
Tina B. 10/19/2018 I had a terrible pinch in my upper back, neck, and arm for over a week. I saw a chiropractor and did everything I could think of to make the pain go away. I had one appointment with Elizabeth and then woke up the next day feeling almost 100% better. No more pinching, no more pain.
Jason T. 9/2018 I went to Join Hands Acupuncture a few months ago after rehab on my rotator cuff surgery cleared about 80% of my discomfort. Elizabeth did some great work to alleviate the last 20%. About a month later, she notified me that my health insurance (Medicare and Kaiser) will cover acupuncture at Join Hands. We have continued work with the rotator cuff and also a number of other issues. Great pain relief and professional clinic.
Kristenza H. 10/2018 Elizabeth is amazing! Even though I hate needles, I truly believe in acupuncture! I went to see her last August for sciatica and knee pain on the left side of my body and other various issues. My sciatica pain had subsided and hasn't returned. I was very impressed with the way she takes the time to listen and understand exactly what ailments you having and in making sure she give you the best care that she can. After finding out my she accepts Kaiser Permanente insurance, I was excited to see her again in regards of another back issue, CTS, and stress. And as before the pain is getting better just after 2 visits. I would recommend anyone to come see her. Elizabeth is very knowledge, gentle, and she makes sure you are comfortable throughout your session. The facility is very clean and the decor and music is very soothing.
Lisa C. 7/2/2018 I went to Elizabeth after not seeing much relief with chiropractic treatments for back pain, and I was not disappointed. After just 1 session with her I couldn't believe the improvements in my pain. The first session she spent time going through what was bothering me and testing areas to see if I was a good candidate for acupuncture. I am terrified of needles, but she did a great job of calming my fears and taking it slow. When I returned for more sessions, she always remembered what my issues were and made sure to check on everything. She also worked on areas outside of just back pain, and my stress levels and sleep quality have improved tremendously. Elizabeth definitely made me a believer in acupuncture and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Heather O. 8/21/2018 My experience with Elizabeth Guo is phenomenal. I found myself with a neuropathy condition on the bottom of my feet. My doctor sent me to a neurologist to test the nerves in my legs who found that 1 out of 3 nerves that could be tested in the office were malfunctioning. Oh, what can we do, I ask. The doctor says, we will watch, come back in 6 months. Not what I wanted to hear. After hearing this, Elizabeth sent me an email with studies of acupuncture being effective with neuropathy. OK, Elizabeth, let's try it. After a series of treatments, my condition is hugely improved!! Elizabeth is the BEST!
